The Cross The Banna Strand at Kerry.
A replica of a small piece of jewellery found
at Banna Strand by a very young member of our
Family. The piece had been lashed by the waves of the
Atlantic Ocean. It conjured up memories of whom where and how.
It is a small 10ct gold cross with Connemara Marble inset to
one side. The reverse is etched with Celtic inscription.

A 14ct ct gold shamrock with trinity loops to the centre leafs.
The stem of the shamrock has three small diamonds inset into same.
Just above the stem we have placed a small emerald.

The Saint Bridget’s Cross
Brigid's crosses are associated with Bridget of Kildare who is venerated as one of the patron saints of Ireland. The crosses are traditionally made on February 1st which in the Irish Language Lá Fhéile Bhríde (St. Brigid's feast day), the day of her Liturgical Celebrations. This feast coincides with the more ancient one of her pagan namesake

10 ct Gold Onyx Fob with a centre piece of ‘ Claddagh Insignia
The design and customs associated with it originated in the Irish fishing village of Claddagh located just outside the city of Galway. The ring was first produced in the 17th century during the reign of Queen Mary 11, though elements of the design are much older.
The fob section of the Onyx is surrounded in a gold case. The case swivals to give the same insignia to both back and front

The Irish Kings Tara Brooch. Traditional Tara Brooch
The Tara Brooch is considered one of the most important extant artifacts of early Christian-era Irish Insular Art and is displayed in the National Museum of Ireland in Dublin
Created in about 700 AD, the seven-inch long brooch is composed primarily of silver gilt and is embellished with intricate abstract decoration (termed "Irish interlace" or Celtic Knotwork.) both front and back. The beads contain images of over 20 wolves' heads and dragons' faces.
The brooch is named after the Hill of Tara, seat of the mythological High Kings of Ireland .
Our Brooch as in all our designs utilises the familiar knotwork and interlace

Formed of a 10 ct Gold Cross front mounted to a Sterling Silver rectangular back, slightly curved. When viewed from the other side of the silver rectangle. The cross is still visible but forms a smaller but perfectly formed cross.

Designed to commemorate the numerous individuals who had
to flee their homes during the Great Famine
Watergate was adjacent to the jetty from where they set sail on their
perilous journeys, never to return to their native land.

The return side has no inscription but forms two simple crosses

The Kerry Shawl Pendant
Designed on a the theme of a simple shawl pin, as seen on
the shawl of an old woman. The lady was huddled at the side of the road with the shawl wrapped around her, as a shelter from the rain.
We stopped to give her a lift and my abiding memory was the small piece of gold on the shawl. Was this her greatest possession. I will never know.

Wolf Tone died from a wound that he received after being sentenced to death for his part in the Irish Rebellion of 1798.
